So I joined this club I want to say August or September at a car show in Alabama. I paid for a membership but not sure what all that gets me. Anyways a little about myself. I am currently in Germany for the Army. I fly Apache Longbows. I have a 2010 candy apple red Roush 427R. I also have a 2003 Colorado Red GT with a 10 lbs procharger on it. I am happy to say my 427R got upgraded to the Stage 3 with TVS 2.3. I hope to be driving it again this week when I come home on Thursday. I have a few videos of both my Mustangs on YouTube I will post the link later or you can look for my name which is albee26 on there. Are there any car shows during DEC? I would love to get it out again. Thanks I will be putting up pictures as I can.

I remember seeing that 427R at the cruise-in we were at in Fultondale. It is an awesome looking car ! Great to have you here, and thank you for what you are doing for our country ! I am not aware of any car shows in December. We do have a Christmas party set for this coming Saturday, a dyno day set for January 9th, and we will also have 6 of our cars at the World of Wheels show in February. There is usually a dry spell between middle Oct until early to mid April due to weather :( but we do try to get together and do different (usually not car related) activities as a group weekly. 2003 REDFIRE COBRA #3938 of 5082 @ 05/27/2003 1 of 414Modification List, High Res Pictures, Dyno Sheet440rwhp/483rwtq 10.9 A/F 12-15psi (new leaner numbers to come!)

Hi there, and welcome to the club. We also like to say thanks to those that serve abroad and have to leave their ponies here so that we have the freedom to enjoy ours. I know you can't wait to get back and take it for a drive. Like SpectorV mentioned, even though there are not that many shows between now and April, we do continue to meet on a pretty regular basis. Often it is just to have dinner, but sometimes we go other places as well and do things as a group that may or may not be Mustang related. The next couple of months are also generally project months and that's when a good portion of modification work gets done so that it will be ready for springtime. As far as membership, your membership basically gets you discounts on club shirts, access to the private discussion area on the forums, and it allows you to vote on club activities when there is an online poll. It also helps the club pay for sponsored shows, awards and activities throughout the year as we often do not charge for participation in club sponsored shows/events. And lastly, and most importantly, pretty much the largest portion of your club fee goes towards providing Christmas presents for a struggling family that might not be able to provide their children with a Christmas otherwise. We find this last aspect of membership the most rewarding as our main goal as a club is to support the community while enjoying our passion for Mustangs.

SpectorV wrote:you also get a discount at american muscle (correct?) that if you spend enough will pay for the membership fee time and time again That is correct... Well, assuming that they ever send us our club kit with the code in it, haha. Thanks for the reminder though because I need to send them another email regarding our code or perhaps just give them a call tomorrow.
