Thanks for the compliments. The best part of this project has yet to be revealed so keep checking the thread. As far as the block and timing cover, it looks a lot less bright without the camera flash on it but once the block is back in the car you really won't be able to see much of it. The accessory brackets on a SN95 are so large they cover most of it up. Just about the only time you'll really see any of it is looking down the side where the headers are. If I had gone with longtubes, I doubt that you would be able to see it at all but longtubes are a pain to install or maintenance and I don't really think the few extra hp/tq they provide are worth the added headache. I also bought a stainless Bassani X-pipe years ago when I got the car in 96 and it pretty much still looks great considering its age so I would have hated to remove it and discard it just for longtubes. I'm trying to decide what to do about my valve covers now. VC clearance is real tight with a Kenne Bell but I needed inside clearance for roller rockers so I raided my parts bin for my 87 and got these out of the stash. I thought about just painting the letters yellow on them so I mocked one up very poorly using Microsoft Paint but it gives you an idea. My brother suggested I powdercoat them with a gloss black and then paint the letters yellow or powdercoat them in Chrome Yellow and sand the letters off and polish them. I just picked up the last of the Chrome Yellow powdercoat pretty much anywhere in the US so I plan to use it either for the lettering or for just coating them if I do the yellow covers. The yellow is kinda bright so I was leaning more towards the black with yellow lettering but I haven't decided yet. Here is what the TFS covers looks like with a semi-gloss black on them and my poor job of digitally editing the letters:

More work accomplished tonight.... Mocked up the timing cover with the water pump on it to see what it was going to look like. I was pleased with the outcome: BTW, this is my parts stash for this project. It's not everything but it's most everything... Time to say goodbye to the ole trusty T5. Bye bye T5!! Time to say hello to the new T56. Heeeeello baaaby! 6 gears of sweetness!

A issue with an ill fitting header set us back considerably last evening but we were finally able to get it to cooperate. I also couldn't find the good camera around the shop anywhere so I only have craptasic cell phone photos I took with my work phone, which really sucks. Nonetheless, I did make some progress....

What kind of trickflow valve covers are those? The reason I ask is because on my old car when I had rhe kenne bell on it I had the tall trickflow valve covers on it and pretty much had to grind a hole in the passenger side cover to get enough clearance for the supercharger to sit flat on the intake. 1995 black Mustang gt with- 93 cobra a9 computer, 94-ford lightning 351 windsor, gt40 lower intake, box upper intake, 87-93 75mm throttle body setup, c&l 80mm mass air meter, 42lb. green top injectors, bigger fuel line, vortech fuel pressure reg., trick flow o-ringed aluminum heads, 1.6 roller rockers, Ford racing F-303 camshaft, vortech v-1 s-trim supercharger on 11lbs. of boost, shorty headers, off road x-pipe, flowmaster 40 series single chamber race mufflers, spec stage 3+ clutch, Aluminum flywheel, tremec 3550 transmission, short throw shifter, ford racing aluminum drive shaft, ford racing MEGA BITE JR. lower control arms, ford racing 373 gears, sub-frame connectors, koni yellow adjustable drag struts, msd 6 ignition, fluidyne radiator, flamming river quick ratio manual rack and pinion, 2" lowering springs, 15x4 and 15x8 WELD draglites with mickey thompson ET streets. 552hp. and 517ftlbs. of torque to the ground.

They are TFS short covers. I've been told by several people that, supposedly, the TFS short covers are about the only covers that fit under a Kenne Bell but still clear roller rockers. Fox covers will also fit if you grind down the internal baffle but the oil fill tube is back a little further and would probably hit my throttle body. I don't have a picture of it handy, but it was a very tight fit on my factory covers in that area between the cables, TPS, Idle Air Valve, and the oil fill tube so I figured I would go this route. I already had the covers in my parts stash for my 87 GT so I just took them from there. On these I'm going to relocate the oil fill tube to the back of the passenger side cover since the EGR valve is gone. It should go right there with no issues (hopefully).

Looks good man! I've got some fox covers that i pulled off my car when I did the head swap if you don't want to run the trick flows. You should be well over the 400 hp mark with this stuff. That t56 is going to be awesome for highway cruise speeds and the track hell you could run a 4.10 gear no problem with that 1995 black Mustang gt with- 93 cobra a9 computer, 94-ford lightning 351 windsor, gt40 lower intake, box upper intake, 87-93 75mm throttle body setup, c&l 80mm mass air meter, 42lb. green top injectors, bigger fuel line, vortech fuel pressure reg., trick flow o-ringed aluminum heads, 1.6 roller rockers, Ford racing F-303 camshaft, vortech v-1 s-trim supercharger on 11lbs. of boost, shorty headers, off road x-pipe, flowmaster 40 series single chamber race mufflers, spec stage 3+ clutch, Aluminum flywheel, tremec 3550 transmission, short throw shifter, ford racing aluminum drive shaft, ford racing MEGA BITE JR. lower control arms, ford racing 373 gears, sub-frame connectors, koni yellow adjustable drag struts, msd 6 ignition, fluidyne radiator, flamming river quick ratio manual rack and pinion, 2" lowering springs, 15x4 and 15x8 WELD draglites with mickey thompson ET streets. 552hp. and 517ftlbs. of torque to the ground.

Been a while since I updated. I'm still working on the car a lot but had about a week setback because the place I order powdercoating from was having some supply issues. Glad I waited though. A big box showed up with all my goodies. I took a few pictures but the lighting is really bad in my brother's garage. The pictures just don't do the parts justice to show their real finish. Some of the parts look even better than they did when I first got the car 15 years ago. That being said, here's a few pics until I can get some with better lighting: Ignition coil bracket. The finish on this is flawless. It looks really terrific. Intake Manifold Coolant Tubing. Same as above, this looks just amazing in person. Valve cover - This is the first stage of redoing the valve covers. They are black now, but still need the lettering colored and some minor finish work. I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out. Once I blasted them down they still have a rough type finish to them that kinda give them a little texture. I kinda like how it looks. I think once the letters are finsihed they are going to look great. I have quite a few other parts to coat but they will be in colors other than black.

Nice! What size motor is it? What size KB do you have? Can't wait till you finish it . Question. Your lower intake says systemax but it looks just like a stock 302 lower? I guess what kind of systemax is it? Real race cars lift the front tires, Not try to put power to them.
